Language Without Limits
Empowering Through Language
Language Without Limits is a Not-For-Profit organisation that hosts community events to help people learn English through immersion and community. Currently, we are based in Adelaide, Australia, and we aim towards creating a safe space and we encourage learning English through fostering connections and community. We believe everyone should have a fulfilled life with a rich society. Noone should have limits to the relationships they can have around them, just because of language barriers.
Language Without Limits envisions a world where everyone can choose their world and their relationships, regardless of your first language, or your culture. We think that culture is there to be shared and celebrated, and the only way to do that is being able to share it with those who don't know it. As we are currently in Australia, we aim to foster English learning in migrants, to give them the opportunity to have the friends, life, neighbourly connections and enriched community they deserve, instead of being limited through language barriers. We organise and host events that encourage community involvement and connection, while also encouraging language learning. We are passionate about building connections and fostering immersion so that everyone has the opportunity to find their people and their community, no matter what language you speak.
Our Mission
Community Engagement
At Language Without Limits, our approach is centered around community engagement and empowerment. We believe in fostering connections through bringing people together at big (or small!) events. At these events, people can share, learn, connect, laugh, smile and find joy in the presence of others.
Language Improvement
We think the secret to language learning is creating a reason to learn and have a fulfilling community that boosts your enjoyment. And it isn't just us who thinks that. Studies have shown that language progression can increase from 20% to 40% when there are high enjoyment levels as well as community involvement.
Empowering Through Education
We also aim to offer and help people find services and opportunities that aid their learning. We will take the time to find and seek out the places that offer classroom services, job placements for those whose second language is English, and more. A community is about helping and empowering, and we will strive to help everyone find what they need.
